The Pedersen Story

Pedersen Transport is a family owned and operated LTL and TL company that has been serving southern Alberta since 1966. Founded by Garry and Lorraine Pedersen and later joined by Charles and Jim Pedersen, Pedersen Storage and Cartage became well known for setting the standard for excellent service and on time delivery throughout southern Alberta. Today, Pedersen Transport is still in the family, now in the second generation with Wayne Pedersen in the drivers seat.

Early on the 3P’s (Pedersen Picky Principles) were adopted and are still in use today. Principles such as integrity, safety, continuous improvement, attention to detail and family first are top of mind with every employee. With every delivery our people ensure that; we are on time, shipments are treated with care and that our customers are satisfied. It is every employee’s obligation to ensure that we are the best that we can be.

Pedersen can handle any shipment, delivered anywhere. Dry Vans, Refrigerated Vans, Container Chassis, Straight Trucks and Flat Decks... we have an extensive stable of modern equipment to satisfy any freight need. Every driver undergoes rigorous training and is required to perform regular safety inspections of all equipment. And we know how to handle freight. From a single shipment to truckloads, we have the knowledge and the capability to deliver the goods.
