Pedersen Transport is a family owned and operated LTL and TL company who has been serving southern Alberta since 1966. The company originated in Claresholm, Alberta where we became one of the first appointed agents for CP merchandise in Canada. Originally, the company operated under the name Pedersen Storage and Cartage by Garry and Lorraine Pedersen, and Garry's two brothers, Charles and Jim. It is now with its second generation of operator, Wayne Pedersen. After establishing a solid reputation and business strategy, Pedersen Transport later expanded into other cities which included the opening of terminals in Lethbridge, Calgary, and Pincher Creek.
Today, the core of our business has become overnight LTL and TL freight service, with a smaller concentration on contract hauling. Pedersen Transport operates a combination of over seventy modern trucks and trailers, including dry vans, heated vans, flat decks and container chassis. This fleet is always on the go, twenty-four hours a day, six days a week.
Pedersen employs over sixty dedicated individuals who strive to create seamless links between the customer and the delivery. The company attributes our success to this effective team of employees and their commitment to serving the needs of every customer. The Pedersen team now services more than fifty delivery points across southern Alberta. Recently this service area has been expanded to include both Red Deer and Edmonton. |
